The new flagship of the Cruise line is now also available as a Fixed Pod: The new Cruise 10.0 FP not only has an impressive appearance, it also delivers impressive performance. High-tech and emission-free.
The Cruise 10.0 FP is comparable to a 25 HP petrol outboard (in thrust) The Pod motor is installed underneath the hull (permanently submerged) so it’s invisible and no space is being taken up inside the boat.
The Cruise 10 FP motor comes standard with a 3-blade fixed propeller but can be fitted with an optional folding propeller for sailboats, this reduces the overall drag of the entire unit to less than 0.2 knots of speed whilst under sail. The Cruise Pod motors come with an integrated GPS information system providing information on speed, battery status and remaining range, displayed on a screen integrated in the tiller or in the remote throttle.
Despite its exceptional power, the Cruise 2.0 FP /4.0 FP remains a lightweight at only 16 kg.
The Cruise FP pod motors need external batteries to operate. For the Cruise 2.0 FP you need at least one Torqeedo Power 26-104 Lithium battery or a 24V lead-acid battery bank. For the Cruise 4.0 FP you need at least 2 of the Torqeedo Power 26-104 Lithium batteries or a 48V lead-acid battery bank. The size/capacity of the battery bank depends on the speed & range you require.
