Eco Boats sponsors Captain Paul Watson Foundation ship the ‘Bandero’

Eco Boats Australia sponsors the Captain Paul Watson Foundation’s Antarctic Mission

At Eco Boats Australia, our passion for the marine environment goes beyond electric motors – it’s about protecting the oceans we love. That’s why we are proud to contribute to the Captain Paul Watson Foundation’s latest mission to Antarctica.

The foundation’s vessel, the Bandero, is currently en route to the Southern Ocean to take a stand against the industrial-scale extraction of krill, which is harvested for use in food supplements and fish farms. Why does this matter? Krill are the heartbeat of the ocean. They are the primary food source for whales, penguins, and seals, and they help capture millions of tonnes of CO2 every year. Removing them at an industrial scale risks ecosystem collapse.

To support this vital work, Eco Boats Australia has sponsored the Bandero’s Mess Room with a USD$1,000 donation to assist the crew during their voyage. We wish the Bandero a safe and successful mission and thank the Captain Paul Watson Foundation for their tireless efforts to defend our oceans.

How you can help: The oceans need all the allies they can get. Please join us in supporting the mission by following their journey and donating here
