The new flagship of the Cruise line is now also available as a Fixed Pod. Torqeedo Cruise 10.0 Fixed pod not only has an impressive appearance, it also delivers impressive performance. This is high-tech and also emission-free electric pod propulsion of the highest standard.
Cruise 10.0 FP is overall comparable to a 25 HP petrol outboard (in thrust). The Pod motor is installed underneath the hull (permanently submerged) so it’s invisible and no space is taken up inside the boat.
Cruise 10 FP motor comes standard with a 3-blade fixed propeller but can be fitted with an optional folding propeller for sailboats. This reduces the overall drag of the entire unit to less than 0.2 knots of speed whilst under sail.
Cruise Pod motors come with an integrated GPS information system providing information on speed, battery status and also remaining range. All displayed on a screen integrated in the tiller or in the remote throttle.
Despite its exceptional power, the Cruise 2.0 FP /4.0 FP remains lightweight at only 16 kg.
Torqeedo Cruise 10.0 fixed pod motors need external batteries to operate.
For the Cruise 10.0 FP you need at least four of the Torqeedo Power 26-104 Lithium batteries or a 48V lead-acid battery bank.
The size/capacity of the battery bank depends on the speed and also the range you require.
